Richard Waters is stepping down from his role as Artistic Director of the Kentucky Bach Choir, effective the end of June 2024. “I know that the future is very bright for the Kentucky Bach Choir. It has been my honor and privilege to be part of the team, if only for a brief time,” said Waters.
“We very much appreciate the great work Richard has done with the Choir,” said Roberta Chase-Borgatti, president of the board of directors. “We understand that his other professional responsibilities made it difficult for him to continue to lead the group at the level of excellence he has achieved this past season.”

A search committee has been formed to begin the process of identifying the next leader of the group.
